In active seismic zones, such as the Peruvian coast, tools for predicting potential negative impacts of earthquakes are essential planning mitigation, emergency, and recovery transportation facilities. For instance, capacity a road bridge network after event to carry traffic flow depends on degree expected damage related repair costs downtime. This paper determines vulnerability highway bridges action probable during structure's lifetime by applying spectrum assessment method known FRACAS (FRAgility through CApacity Spectrum assessment). approach allows fragility curves be obtained from analyzing structure subjected series records different characteristics. this way, can explain effect variability in demand structural characteristics statistics simulated type evaluate associated uncertainty fragility. As case study, it is applied methodology described evaluation Moche bridge, located region La Libertad (Peruvian coast), which an Operational state according situ inspection. From assessment, that until with accelerations 1.7g, has 60% probability incursion into Life Safety state, being Collapse less than 10%. recommended determine reliability bridges, considering cumulative due events bridges' lifetime.
